A Lion at Heart ❤๐ฆ
It's time to watch “The Lion King”, everyone is excited cause it is the live-action movie. Have you watched it? ๐ฌ๐
It seems Simba was not only an imaginary lion and there is a Simba inside each one of us. ๐ช๐ฆ
However, it reminded me of the "Lions of Iran" Exhibition by Parviz Tanavoli at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, July 2017.
It was from his personal collection and some 5000-year old artifacts from the collections of Iranian museums, focus on the lion, one of two ancient symbols of Iran that have endured for an estimated five millennia.
The exhibition had deeper resonances than simply reinforcing cultural values and bringing them to the fore with contemporary means.
" This is my way of demonstrating that Iranian culture has survived for millennia and will not disappear. Politics cannot destroy it,” Tanavoli said. ✌๐ฎ๐ท
